I went to the see the nurse today to have my staples removed. Not the most fun experience but a necessary step in recovery. I talked to the nurse about the problems I've been dealing with. My blood pressure is high so I'll be going back to have that checked in a week. She is having me stop taking the pain killer to see if it might be causing my headaches and other symptoms. If that seems to help I'll get a different one prescribed. If not, I might have to call the anesthesiologist to discuss side effects of all that was given to me. I just have to get rid of the headaches because they make it very difficult to function.
Kase had a check up this morning and is looking great. His jaundice is better and he is back up to his birth weight. What a sweetie! Kaiden & Kase may not be twins, but they definitely resemble each other. Here are some comparison pics. Both of our boys "Hooked their Horns" within the first few weeks of life. Both of them put their 'hook'em's" on their cheeks all by themselves. I think that proves that we haven't "brain-washed" them... they just came out that smart! : ) Kaiden's pics are on the left & Kase's are on the right.
