Back in the Saddle Again...

I've been feeling so much better the last few days & it's only been two weeks since my surgery (which is so much earlier than after my first c-section). Of course, because I've been feeling better, I've done too much. I'm trying to rest up some today, but it does feel good to be "back in the saddle again" at least some. : )

Kase's staph infection started really worrying me on Tuesday. It was so stressful to look at my two week old baby & not let my imagination run away with me. I started worrying that it was going to get worse & that he was going to have to go to the hospital so I had a lot of tears throughout the day. Ben was going to take him back today but since a few little places broke out on his arm he got an appointment yesterday. The report was really the same that since it's mostly localized, even with the few spots on his arm it's not too serious. The serious infection would be accompanied by fever & lack of appetite. What a huge relief! I had a great Wednesday after that dr's. visit. His umbilical cord came off which is always a nice step.

We all went to worship service last night for the first time. It was fun to get out as a family & it was nice to see everyone. We went to Chuy's afterwards which was Kase's first restaurant experience. It was so noisy (as Chuy's always is) & Kase took the best nap. We are now sleeping with the tv on at night because he loves noise. : )

Here's a pic from Chuy's & a few others... notice the serious expression that is often on Kase's face. We're pretty sure he's contemplating the world's problems so he can solve them some day. : )
