Kaiden had Open House at his new elementary school. He got to meet his teacher, Ms. Blesing. What a pleasant name. : ) Kaiden asked if it was spelt with a "g" at the end & was told yes... Since then when anyone has asked his teacher's name he has emphasized the "g" sound at the end. Too funny!
He quickly found his locker in his room.
He loved exploring the classroom & really was hoping there would be an activity to do. : )
Our sweet little Kaiden is always thinking & over the last few weeks the only apprehension he has expressed about starting school has been that he might run into bullies. He has already experienced some at play grounds & we have talked at length about why they act that way & what to do when around them. So we reaffirmed that he probably won't have to worry about bullies but if he did that he knows what to do. So we thought it was pretty cool that on our way out of the school we saw this on the counselor's door. That gave us an opportunity to explain what a counselor is too. SO many new adventures!!! I know Kaiden is ready for school so it helps me not to be sad. : )
