He has really enjoyed starting school. I LOVE that we live SO close to the school building. Ben & I walk him there in the mornings & it takes about 3 minutes! Then Kase & I go for a 3 mile walk. It's so nice! I usually walk to pick him up too but driving is pretty easy as well. Kase misses him during the day but we have fun together. It has been so cute when I pick Kaiden up & he gets in the double stroller with Kase because Kase lays his sweet little head on Kaiden's shoulder all the way home. So cute!
Kaiden had a great first week but it was hard to get up early everyday. He asked why does it have to be so early & go so long & be everyday.... I wonder too! : ) But the good news is that he loves learning & he looks forward to going once he's awake. Toward the end of the week he even started waking himself up a little early so he could get some play station in. We love our big boy!

One last glance at his room & class mates on their first day. The PTA was holding a "Tissue & Treats" crying & cookie area but I avoided it because I didn't want to cry. I teared up just a little but held it together well. Kaiden is just so ready & I love hearing all about his days & experiences so we are doing well!
This is Friday morning... one week down... still smiling! What a kid!
