Happy 2009 Everyone & Happy 5 Month Birthday Kase

The New Year is upon us & as time marches on we are reminded how fast it's going because our little baby is already 5 months old. How can that be? Even though there's a little of that "he's already getting so big" feeling, there's much more "wow, look at how much he's doing!" feeling. He's just too sweet & precious. He continues to be a very pleasant boy & a great sleeper... As soon as we lay him down in his bed, he gets his thumb & goes to sleep.

He's eating cereal, carrots, sweet potatoes, & peas (kind of - they really gag him).

People often ask me how things are going or how I like staying home with my kids... I have my health, a best friend for a husband, two sweet healthy precious boys that love each other, plus so many material blessings... I am blessed & I thank the Lord everyday for all He has given me. Plus, look at what I get to be a part of every day.



Ben should get a "Daddy of the Year" award for this one.

Kase has found his squeal... his really high-pitched, very loud squeal. He loves to lie down on his play mat & listen to his new voice. He's so loud that he's actually woken me up from downstairs. Of course as soon as we get the camera going he stops. Here's at least a little sample.
