"You Can't Catch Me..."

Kaiden & Kase went to the Annual Cookie Party & Book Exchange with their friends. They made Gingerbread Men. It was fun to watch them decorate their cookies the way they wanted.



Ms. Stephanie read The Gingerbreadman to the kiddos. Kaiden had never heard the story & as she read it & got closer to the climax he was intently listening... so when she, with lots of inflection, said..."and the wolf bit his head off." Kaiden turned around & looked at me so surprised & worried. It was was too cute. I gave him a reassuring - that's what cookies are for look & he smiled & was ok. That taunting gingerbreadman really had it coming... "You can't catch me... I'm the gingerbreadman!" : )

The kids exchanged wrapped books.

Abby, Kaiden, & Kase proudly display their new books while Megan looks on.
