Kase loves to wear his cowboy hat & ride on his rocking horse, old Joe. He can get up & down all by himself & rocks so hard that he travels across the room. : )
Our little Kase is 18 months old today. WOW!!! He is such a joy! Just a quick comparison shot of big brother at the same age... They are similar in looks but also in just how social they are/were at this age.
I love this age because he is learning so much everyday. I also struggle with this age because he is learning so much! : ) Age 1-2 is exhausting!
He is still an early riser... always the first up in the house usually around 6am. From that moment on he is a happy little soul full of energy all day long.
There really isn't anything he can't attempt to say. 99% of the time we can easily understand him. That makes life so nice. He is talking in 3-5 word sentences. Some examples are, "get mommy's boots on", "all done done, get down please", eat breakfast please mommy". He's also consistently saying thank you & please on his own. It's rather amazing.
I am very happy to report he has moved past the very disturbing head butting phase! He seems to be dealing with frustration much better!
He is a great eater & sleeper. He still takes 2 naps most days. He loves his bedtime routine & taking baths. And although he has struggled with ear infections, strep & chicken pox he is overall very healthy & strong.
He loves Bible class and says "Amen" after prayers. He likes to sing as well.
He loves his brother & it's mutual. They play so well together now especially because of Kaiden's maturity level. Kaiden is usually very understanding when Kase tears apart something he's worked hard to build or when he colors on one of his masterpieces.... He always says, "Mommy, I know he doesn't know any better because he's just a baby but we will teach him to do the right thing."
Speaking of teaching Kase the right things to do... he sits on the naughty spot of his own accord & really dislikes it so that is working as a great form of punishment for him. He has started saying "sorry" upon completion of his time & always gives hugs.
The boys play all kinds of boy things together. Kase will run & jump on Kaiden & say "tackle!" Kaiden of course loves it & they have a big time. I think it's Pa Pa Adcox's wrestling genes in action. : )
We realize what a blessing it is to have healthy happy children & we'd just like to say, "Happy 18 month birthday, Kase Harrison!"
