Kaiden's class had a holiday party on the last day before the winter break. They played bingo with M&M's. The little boy next to Kaiden didn't have a bingo paper so Kaiden shared with him. They got to eat their M&M's afterwards & I was so proud to see him share so willingly when none of the other kids had to share! What a considerate little guy!
After bingo, they made a nifty candy cane bead ornament. Then there was the food.... muffins, donuts & fruit & that was all before 10AM! There was a lot of sugar going on already that early & it was a classmates birthday so cupcakes were still to come! The kids were bouncing off the walls & I felt for the teacher as I got to leave the insanity & she had the whole day left. : )
Then they enjoyed a book present exchange.
Kaiden got a cool Astroboy book. The books were supposed to be appropriate for boys or girls but one little girl wrapped her gift in "girlie" paper. Well a little boy just happened to receive the gift & he was not going to open it because it was for a girl! He would not open it! Eventually, the teacher talked him into letting her open it & he seemed to really like it after all. Kids are so funny!
