Mother's Day Tea

Kaiden made me an invitation to the Mother's Day Tea at his pre-school. Look at how well he is writing his name & look at how pretty the flowers are he colored!

We had a lovely little bruch and received a present as well. He made me this plate that he decorated & this little poem was attached. It is so cute!

All of the kiddos had painted pictures of their mommies & filled out information about them. All the mommies got to try figure out which picture belonged to which mommy. I knew that Kaiden would have drawn me in a yellow shirt (but as you can see there were several yellow shirts). I also thought I would be the only one without a nose because Kaiden usually doesn't draw noses because he says they aren't cute. : ) But he gave me a nose this time. Apparently my lipstick is a very prominent feature in Kaiden's sight. : ) My portrait is the far left one on the middle row.

This is one of my very favorite things my little precious guy has ever done. You can click on it to make it bigger if you have trouble reading it. My favorite part is that he loves it when I cook him Lunchables! Ha! I also love that he said I am 15. I asked him why he said I am 15 and he said, "I was counting & some kids in my class were being distracting and I lost count!" He's so funny!!!

They performed a skit about all the "hats" that mothers wear. It was cute.

I am so thankful I am a mother and that God gave me two of the most precious blessings!
